โรงแยกก๊าซธรรมชาติระยองสนับสนุนน้ำแข็งแห้งให้แก่กรมฝนหลวงและการบินเกษตร

โรงแยกก๊าซธรรมชาติระยองสนับสนุนน้ำแข็งแห้งให้แก่กรมฝนหลวงและการบินเกษตรเพื่อใช้ปฏิบัติการทำฝนหลวงช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบภัยแล้งทั่วประเทศ

วันจันทร์ที่ 1 มีนาคม 2564 ดร.วิสุทธิ์ หนูงาม ผู้จัดการฝ่ายบริหารจัดการโรงแยกก๊าซและกิจการเพื่อชุมชน หน่วยธุรกิจก๊าซธรรมชาติ บริษัท ปตท. จำกัด (มหาชน) (ปตท.)  ในฐานะผู้แทน ปตท. มอบน้ำแข็งแห้งจำนวน 800 ตัน  มูลค่ารวม 6,400,000บาท (หกล้านสี่แสนบาทถ้วน) แก่ นายสุรสีห์ กิตติมณฑล อธิบดีกรมฝนหลวงและการบินเกษตร. เนื่องใน "พิธีเปิดปฏิบัติการฝนหลวงสู้ภัยแล้ง ประจำปี 2564" ณ หน่วยปฏิบัติการฝนหลวงจังหวัดจันทบุรี สนามบินท่าใหม่ อำเภอท่าใหม่ จังหวัดจันทบุรี เพื่อสนับสนุนกรมฝนหลวงและการบินเกษตรปฏิบัติการทำฝนเทียมช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบภัยแล้ง

ทั่วประเทศ ทั้งนี้ ปตท. ได้สนับสนุนน้ำแข็งแห้งอย่างต่อเนื่องตั้งแต่ปี 2541 จนปัจจุบันได้สนับสนุนน้ำแข็งแห้งแล้วกว่า 12,100 ตัน

คิดเป็นมูลค่ารวมกว่า 96.4 ล้านบาท ซึ่งน้ำแข็งแห้งดังกล่าว เกิดจากการนำก๊าซคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์ที่ได้จากกระบวนการแยกก๊าซธรรมชาติมาใช้ให้เกิดประโยชน์ต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมและประเทศชาติต่อไป
